Meet Addison

My vivid use of color, movement and diverse mediums have been influenced by my colorful, adventurous and interesting life.

Whether living on a boat in the Bahamas, the years spent living in New Orleans, traveling through Europe, running my own retail furniture store and successful interior design firm, all roads have led me to art; reflecting life's transient and fleeting beauty onto permanent media.  After a very traumatic loss, I was drawn to paint my way through my grief, pain and sorrow.  Art is full of meaning and emotion both from the artist and the observer.  Each sees and feels what they need.

I remain influenced by all I see and have seen.  My work has been described as ethereal, whimsical, pop, thought provoking, emotional and sometimes irreverent.  

I live in Dallas, Texas with my three dogs, Joey, Charley and Chuey , in the most vibrant part of the city which provides inspiration and creativity daily.  I am, indeed, a lucky girl

I cannot imagine a life without travel.  The time spent travelling has allowed me to listen to the world around me and ultimately fall in love with some of the most inspiring places.

Before I had the opportunity to travel, I spent time learning and exploring the world through books.  Many of the places I visit now are those which I have already fallen in love with years earlier.  I am like a child with eyes of wonder when I get to "bring a place to life" right in front of me.  Palm Springs is one of those places that drew me in early on.  Now, I'm simply obsessed.
